MISSION STATEMENT

The goal of the St. Genevieve�s Parish Samaritan Club is to not just walk by persons in need but to stop and offer assistance. We seek to focus on local persons and organizations in need � to provide food and clothing or the funds to purchase them, to provide services and support to the aged and infirm, to visit the sick and to let prisoners know that they are not forgotten.

MISSION STATEMENT

We affirm the Catholic Church�s teaching that human life begins at conception and that all human life from conception to natural death is entitled to respect and protection. To that end, we seek to prevent abortions, to help provide options to abortion, to support crisis pregnancy centers and post-abortion counseling, to oppose capital punishment, and to spread the Church�s culture of life message. We advocate policies that encourage these goals, giving deference to the primacy to be accorded to the child in the mother�s womb - the most innocent and vulnerable of all.

The Music Ministry at Saint Genevieve's Parish is comprised of three groups:
• The Adult Choir, a 15-20 member group that sings primarily at the 10 AM Mass, with organ and piano accompaniment, but also at the other weekly Masses as part of a monthly rotation,
• The Guitar Group, a 15-20 member group that sings primarily at the 5:00 PM Mass, with guitar and piano accompaniment, but also at the 9:00 AM Mass as part of a monthly rotation and
• The Youth Choir, a 15-20 member group that sings once a month at the 10:00 AM Mass.
